Harry Winston Diamond Corp. (HW.TO,HWD) announced Diavik Diamond Mines Inc.'s decision to cancel a winter production shutdown, originally planned for December 1, 2009 through January 11, 2010, at the Diavik mine in Canada's Northwest Territories.
It is to be noted that the company concluded the summer shutdown on August 24 and rough diamond production has returned to pre shutdown levels.
