Rockwell Collins Inc. (COL) announced Thursday morning that it now expects to report full year 2009 EPS of $3.70 to $3.75, compared to prior expectations of $3.70 to $3.90. The company expects to report full year 2010 EPS of $3.80 to $4.00, excluding items. Rockwell Collins Inc. rose sharply during the first half hour of trade Thursday and closed higher by $1.84 at $50.58 on above average volume. The stock has been climbing for nearly a month and set a new high for the year.
