Monday, Trapeze Networks, a Belden Brand (BDC) introduced the world's first centrally-managed, enterprise-class outdoor 802.11n access point. The MP-632 is the newest member of Trapeze Networks' growing family of NonStop Wireless access points and can be easily configured to create reliable and secure large areas of high speed client access, bridges spanning many miles, or mesh networks enveloping the largest sites, the company noted.
The company stated that, as the first enterprise-class 802.11n access point, it delivers up to 10 times the performance of an 802.11 a/g access point. Trapeze Networks added that MP-632 is available at an MSRP of $3,995.
