Foster Wheeler AG (FWLT) said that it has appointed Robert Flexon as President and Chief Executive Officer of Foster Wheeler USA Corporation, the company's Global Engineering and Construction Group subsidiary based in Houston, Texas. He replaces Troy Roder, who is now named the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Foster Wheeler Energy Ltd, based in Reading, England. The appointment of Robert Flexon as President and Chief Executive Officer effects from November 16.
Flexon is currently Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of NRG Energy, Inc., a wholesale power generation company primarily engaged in the ownership and operation of power generation facilities and the sale of energy, capacity and related products.
He has also served as a member of the Foster Wheeler AG board of directors since 2006 and will continue to serve in that capacity through November 16.
