Boston Properties Q3 FFO Rises; Provides Q4, FY10 Guidance - Quick Facts 2

Tuesday, Boston Properties Inc. (BXP) reported third-quarter funds from operations or FFO of $158.5 million or $1.13 per share, compared FFO of $132.5 million or $1.09 per share in the same quarter last year.

Net income available to common shareholders was $65.8 million or $0.47 per share, compared to net income of $43.1 million or $0.35 per share in the year ago quarter.

On average, 17 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $1.10 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Total revenue for the quarter was $377.3 million, up from $357.9 million in the comparable quarter last year. Analysts expected the company to report revenue of $353.47 million for the quarter.

Looking ahead to the fourth quarter, the company expects to report FFO in the range of $1.04 - $1.06 per share. Earnings are expected to be in the range of $0.40 - $0.42 per share. Analysts currently anticipate the company to earn $1.09 per share.

For the full year 2010, the company excepts to report FFO in the range of $4.00 - $4.20 per share. Earnings are expected to be in the range of $1.26 - $1.46 per share. Analysts currently anticipate the company to earn $4.29 per share.
