Panera Bread Co. (PNRA) reported third quarter EPS of $0.61 Wednesday morning, which topped the consensus estimate of $0.58. The company expects to report fourth quarter EPS of $0.85 to $0.87 and full year 2010 EPS of $3.05 to $3.15. The consensus estimates are for EPS of $0.85 and $3.04 respectively. Panera Bread gapped up sharply Wednesday, but traded in a range for the bulk of the session. The stock closed up by $3.64 at $58.74, with volume at a 6-month high. Shares climbed past resistance and set a 6-month high.
