Tuesday, Romania's National Institute of Statistics said producer prices fell 1.2% year-on-year in September, faster than a 1.1% fall last month.
Mining prices fell 3.65%, while manufacturing prices dropped 2.16%, on an annual basis. Among the industrial groups, intermediate goods showed the biggest fall of 7.82%. Meanwhile, price of utilities rose 4.55%.
Month-on-month, producer prices rose 0.2%, but slower than a 0.7% increase in August.
