Barclays plc (BCS,BARC.L) announced the broadening of its Executive Committee and changes to its structure and senior management responsibilities.
The company said that Frits Seegers, currently Chief Executive, GRCB, will leave following a handover and resigns as Director of Barclays Plc and Barclays Bank Plc with immediate effect.
Barclays said that Antony Jenkins, Maria Ramos, Jerry del Missier, Rich Ricci, and Tom Kalaris will join the Group Executive Committee.
Barclays noted that it will release its Interim Management Statement for the third quarter of 2009 as planned on November 10, 2009. The company noted that third quarter Profit before tax for the Group was consistent with the run rate for the first half of 2009.
