Starbucks Corp. Is Climbing On Q4 News

Starbucks Corp. (SBUX) reported fourth quarter EPS of $0.24 after the close Thursday, which beat the consensus estimate of $0.21. The company also raised its full year 2010 EPS growth forecast to between a 15% and 20% increase from 2009, from prior expectations of a increase between 13% and 18%. The stock is now up 0.93 on 1.3 million shares.

Starbucks Corp. traded to the upside during the first 2 hours of Thursday's session and closed higher by 0.49 at $19.70. The stock rose above a narrow range and finished at a week and a half.
