Simmons First National Corp. (SFNC) announced that it has priced underwritten public offering of 2.65 million common shares at $24.50 per share for gross proceeds of about $64.925 million. The company expects to close the transaction on or about November 17, 2009.
The company granted the underwriters a 30-day option to buy up to an additional 397,500 common shares to cover over-allotments.
The company expects offering net proceeds, after deducting expenses, to be about $61.4 million.
