Iron Mountain Inc. (IRM) announced the promotion of Ramana Venkata to president of Iron Mountain Digital, the company's technology business unit.
As president, Venkata will be responsible for architecting the future of Iron Mountain Digital and executing strategies to build, sell and deliver integrated digital information management services worldwide. John Clancy, former president of Iron Mountain Digital, will depart the company, following a transition period, to become a CEO in Residence at Schooner Capital LLC, the company said.
The company stated that Venkata most recently served as chief operating officer of Iron Mountain Digital where he was responsible for structuring the organization for its next phase of growth, with an approach that integrates services into a holistic solution suite and he joined Iron Mountain in 2007 through its acquisition of the eDiscovery firm Stratify, Inc., which he founded and ran as chief executive officer.
