Affymax, Inc. (AFFY) announced that subject to market and other conditions, it intends to offer shares of its common stock in an underwritten public offering.
Affymax expects to grant the underwriters a thirty-day option to purchase additional shares of common stock to cover overallotments, the compoany stated.
Cowen and Company, LLC and Lazard Capital Markets LLC are acting as joint book-runners, with RBC Capital Markets Corporation and Robert Baird & Co. Incorporated acting as co-managers for the offering.
