CMA's youngest-ever Entertainer of the Year, Taylor Swift, is suing a small sports bar in Idaho for playing her songs without the right to do so.
The Idaho bar, The Sports Cellar, was playing Swift's songs last year without paying royalties. A music rep was reportedly sent to the bar last year and noticed music was being played, including Swift's, without permission. The singer's songs were allegedly even used for karaoke.
Swift and BMI have filed the copyright infringement lawsuit, and are seeking unspecified damages, according to TMZ.
The country star is currently wrapping up her uber-successful Fearless tour in the U.K. in Manchester and London, before taking a break and hitting the road next year for another run. The second leg will kick off on February 7 in Sydney, Australia, and Swift will perform several shows Down Under before returning to the U.S.
Swift, who will grace the cover of December's In Style magazine, also just signed on to create a line of greeting cards and miscellaneous products for American Greetings Corp.
