G4S Plc Announces Acquisition Of All Star International For $59.9 Mln Cash - Quick Facts

Monday, G4S Plc (GFS.L) announced the acquisition of Champions of the West, Inc. trading as All Star International from the Junge Revocable Trust and John Junge individually, by its US Government Services business, Wackenhut Services,Inc. or WSI for a cash consideration of $59.9 million on an enterprise value basis.

All Star is one of the premier facilities management and base operations support companies providing services to the US Government. The acquisition of All Star supports the group's strategy of expanding its capability in providing secure facilities management services in the high-security government sector.

Dave Foley, President and Chief Executive Officer of WSI stated, "The acquisition of All Star significantly increases our capabilities and customer offerings. All Star's reputation is unrivalled in its market segments. The combination of these two companies creates a unique organization which will strongly support the G4S strategic vision and WSI's secure facilities management operational concept."
