The release date for Usher's upcoming album, Raymond vs. Raymond, has been pushed back. The record was set to come out December 21, but a representative from the singer's label has explained, "This is a solid album that we believe in. We want to give it a proper launch."

Raymond vs. Raymond is now expected early next year.

The album's first single "Papers," holds the number two spot on the current Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The song and the album deal with Usher's recent divorce.

Raymond Vs. Raymond follows Usher's 2008 effort Here I Stand, which featured the hit singles "Love In This Club" and "Trading Places." Here I Stand has sold 1.2 million units, according to Nielsen SoundScan. His biggest-selling album to date is 2004's Confessions, which has moved 9.7 million units
