Physiomics Turns To Profit In FY09 - Quick Facts

Physiomics Plc. (PYC.L) announced the final results for the year ended 30 June 2009. Profit for the year attributable to equity shareholders was GBP 24,584 or 0.005 pence compared to a loss of GBP 434,469 or 0.116 pence in the prior year. Revenues for the year increased to GBP 460 thousand, from GBP 91 thousand in the prior year.

The company believed that the new financial year is likely to be similar overall to the year just ended as it create momentum in delivery of new services and open up new opportunities.

The Company announced that it has completed a placing, through WH Ireland Limited, to raise £782,500 from the issue of 195,625,000 new ordinary shares of 0.04p each at a price of 0.4p per share. Application has been made for the new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and dealings are expected to commence on 4 December 2009. Following the Placing, the number of Ordinary Shares in issue will increase to 844,820,699.
