Weight Watchers International, Inc. (WTW) disclosed the resignation of Steven McCormick, President of North America, effective December 9, 2009. McCormick's resignation is prompted by the opportunity to accept the position of Chief Executive Officer of LALA U.S.
The Company said it will begin a national search for a new President of North America. Meanwhile, David Kirchhoff, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, will assume day-to-day oversight of the Company's North American meetings operations, including its North American products, publishing and licensing businesses.
