CenterPoint Energy Resources Corp., a subsidiary of CenterPoint Energy Inc. (CNP), announced the planned redemption of all of its outstanding 6% Convertible Subordinated Debentures due 2012 on January 11, 2010. The redemption price will be 100% of the principal amount thereof plus accrued interest to the redemption date.
The company said, holders of debentures on December 1, 2009, the regular record date for the December 15, 2009, interest payment on the debentures, will receive interest in the amount of $0.75 per $50 principal amount of debentures payable on December 15, 2009.
