Dendreon Corp. (DNDN) said Friday that the underwriters of its previously announced public offering have exercised in full their option to purchase an additional 2.25 million shares at the public offering price of $24.75 per share.
The exercise of the option increased the size of the offering to an aggregate of 17.25 million shares of common stock.
Dendreon expects to receive net proceeds from the offering of about $409.5 million, after deducting underwriting commissions and estimated offering expenses. The offering, including the purchase of the additional option shares, is expected to close on December 15.
