Kid Cudi reportedly punched a concertgoer at a tour stop in Vancouver, British Columbia, over the weekend. The incident occurred after an audience member threw a wallet onstage, nearly striking the rapper during his performance.
Cudi pitched the wallet back into the audience and then jumped into the crowd, punching a fan in the head. Videos of the incident are currently circulating on the Internet.
According to an interview with TMZ, Cudi's victim does not plan to press charges. The fan, Michael Sharpe, told the website that "the guy he was supposed to punch was standing four feet to the left."
"I'm not upset, I'm not going to be that person," Sharpe said. "I just want to meet him and be like 'I'm the guy you punched.' I'm not going to press charges."
The performance was part of Kid Cudi's supporting slot on Lady Gaga's Monster Ball tour.
