Computer Sciences Bags $21 Mln Task Order From Equal Employment Opportunity Commission

Computer Sciences Corp. (CSC) announced that the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission awarded the company a task order to provide managed services for end-user computing. The $21 million task order, which has a three-and-a-half-year base period and a three-and-a-half-year option, is one of the first task orders to be awarded under the U.S. General Services Administration's new Alliant contract.

As per the terms of the agreement, CSC will install new laptop computer equipment, which include notebooks, netbooks and tablet PCs, and provide a nationwide information technology help desk.

In addition to this task order, CSC currently provides the EEOC with a wide range of IT support services including training, network management and web development.
