Sonic Solutions (SNIC) announced the public offering of 3,000,000 shares of its common stock Thursday morning, at a price of $9.70 per share. Sonic Solutions spiked to the upside early Thursday morning and rose further going into the close. Shares finished up by $1.84 at $11.53 on strong volume. The stock broke out of a one-month range and set a new high for the year.
