Uranium Energy Corp. (UEC) said that, effective on December 18, 2009, it has now closed its prior announced acquisition of a 100% ownership interest in the South Texas Mining Venture L.L.P. or "STMV" from each of URN Resources Inc. or "URN", a unit of Uranium One Inc., and Everest Exploration Inc.
Following the company's earlier announced Securities Purchase deal with URN, it has now acquired URN's 99% interest in STMV and has now issued 2.50 million restricted common shares of the company to URN.
