Blount International, Inc. (BLT) announced that it has appointed Joshua Collins, formerly President, Chief Operating Officer and CEO Designate, as its Chief Executive Officer as of the close of business on December 18.
He replaces James Osterman, who retired as an employee as of the end of business on December 18, the company said.
The company said that Eliot Fried, Lead Director since 2005, will retire from the Board of Directors as of December 31, 2009, and Robert Beasley, has been elected a Director of the Company by the Board of Directors to fulfill the director vacancy created by the retirement of Fried, effective January 1, 2010.
