Best Buy Co Canada (BBY) said it is preparing for Boxing Day, which is Canada's Busiest Shopping Day and will be opening its doors to Canadian shoppers for some of the lowest prices of the 2009 season.
Open media policy will be in effect at all Best Buy stores for Boxing Day, Best Buy added. The company noted that the prior approval from head office is not required for media visiting Best Buy stores on December 26th for Boxing Day.
Also, the company stated that British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario stores will open at 6am local time, Gatineau store at 10am local time and Quebec stores at 1pm local time.
