Pentair Inc. (PNR) said it approved an increase in its quarterly cash dividend of 1% per share, effective with the quarterly dividend payable in the first quarter of 2010. The new annual cash dividend rate was $0.76 cents per share compared with the prior rate of $0.72 per share, representing a 6% increase.
