Thursday, L-3 Communications Holdings Inc. (LLL) appointed Bantz Craddock as president of its MPRI division. MPRI is a global services firm with more than 6,000 personnel working in nearly 60 countries. General Craddock succeeds retired Carl Vuono as MPRI's president. General Vuono will now focus exclusively on his positions as L-3 senior vice president and president and chief operating officer of the L-3 Services Group, the parent organization of MPRI.
General Craddock joins L-3 following a 38-year career with the Army. Prior to his retirement from the Army in June 2009, he most recently served as the Supreme Allied Commander Europe or SACEUR and Commander in Chief of the U.S. European Command. As SACEUR, General Craddock commanded the military forces of NATO's 28 nations and led history's most successful alliance into new frontiers of relevance and purpose.
