Robert Zemeckis is reportedly assembling his cast for the upcoming Disney remake of the 1968 animated Beatles film, Yellow Submarine.
Zemeckis has cast Cary Elwes as George Harrison, Dean Lennox Kelly as John Lennon, Peter Serafinowicz as Paul McCartney and Adam Campbell as Ringo Starr, according to Rolling Stone.
The film will use motion capture technology and will eventually be converted to 3-D. Disney officially announced the movie's release at their annual D23 Expo last September.
The Beatles have also made recent headlines with continued rumors that their sons may join together in a group of their own. Each of the Fab Four have at least one son who is an active musician and, according to George Harrison's son, Dhani, are all in close contact.
"We just keep to ourselves," Dhani told Aceshowbiz. "Everyone's constantly trying to suggest that there might be something there but it's not what we want to do at all."
