Spire Subsidiary Gets Over $2 Mln From DOE's Tax Credit Program - Quick Facts

Thursday, Spire Corp. (SPIR) said its subsidiary, Spire Semiconductor LLC received $2 million to expand its III/V Compound Semiconductor Foundry facility in Hudson, New Hampshire from Department of Energy or DOE. The company had earlier made an application with the DOE under the Advanced Energy Manufacturing Tax Credit program.

Spire Corp. engages in the development, manufacture, and marketing of engineered products and services in the areas of PV solar, biomedical, and optoelectronics. The company offers specialized equipment for the production of terrestrial photovoltaic modules from solar cells.
