Ocean Power Technologies, Inc (OPTT) said its Board has elected Charles Frederick Dunleavy as Chief Executive Officer, effective January 15, 2010. Dunleavy succeeds Mark Draper, who has resigned for personal reasons.
Charles Frederick Dunleavy joined OPT in 1994 and has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since 2001, and as Treasurer and Secretary and a member of the Board of Directors since 1990. From 1993 to 2001, Dunleavy served as Vice President, Finance.
The company added that it plans to appoint a new Chief Financial Officer to take over from Dunleavy in due course.
