Duke Energy Corp. (DUK) stated that Duke Energy Generation Services, a Duke Energy Commercial Businesses unit, will purchase the Blue Wing Solar Project from juwi solar Inc. The 14-megawatt project will consist of 214,500 ground-mounted First Solar thin film panels.
The company expects the acquisition to close in the first quarter of 2010.
