Praxair, Inc. (PX) announced declaration of quarterly dividend to $0.45 per share, up 13% increase from $0.40 per share in the previous quarter. The increased dividend is payable on March 15, 2010 to shareholders of record on March 5, 2010.
Commenting on the dividend payment, Steve Angel, chairman and chief executive officer, stated, "This action reflects our confidence in Praxair's ability to maintain a high quality business throughout the economic cycles"
