Alcoa (AA) announced that it has appointed Chris Ayers as Chief Operating Officer, Alcoa Cast, Forged and Extruded Products.
Ayers came to Alcoa from Precision Castparts Corporation, a worldwide, diversified manufacturer of complex metal components and products, where he was President of PCC Forgings Division, which is comprised of two separate companies: Wyman Gordon Forgings and Special Metals Corporation. He was president of Wyman Gordon Forgings from 2004 -2006.
