Origin Agritech LTD. (SEED) posted first-quarter net loss attributable to the company of US$1.98 million or US$0.09 per share, narrower than US$2.85 million or US$0.12 per share in the prior year period.
Revenues for the quarter decreased to US$5.7 million from US$8.2 million in the same quarter last year.
Based on its current outlook, and existing and anticipated business conditions, the company reiterates the revenue guidance for FY 2010 in the range of RMB 630 million to RMB 660 million.
