Hot Topic, Inc. (HOTT) reported announced the sales results for its fiscal month of January as well as its fourth quarter and fiscal year.
Total company net sales for January 2010 decreased 11.20% to $39.8 million from last year. Comparable store sales decreased 13.10%.
For the fourth quarter, total company net sales decreased 10.00% to $214.2 million from last year. Comparable store sales decreased 11.50%.
For the full year, total company net sales decreased 3.20% to $736.7 million from last year. Comparable store sales decreased 5.10%.
The company now expects its fourth quarter earnings to be at the low end of its guidance of $0.18 to $0.20 per share.
