ON Semiconductor Corp. (ONNN) reported net income attributable to the company for the fourth quarter of $68.0 million or $0.15 per share, compared to a loss of $524.7 million or $1.28 per share in the year-ago quarter.
Fourth quarter 2009 non-GAAP net income was $84.9 million, or $0.19 per share, compared to $55.2 million or $0.13 per share in the same quarter last year.
Net revenues for the quarter increased to $497.1 million from $488.7 million in the prior-year quarter.
On average, analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.14 per share, on revenues of $491.00 million for the quarter. Analysts estimates typically exclude special items.
Looking ahead for the first quarter, the company expects that total revenues will be about $515 million to $525 million.
Analysts currently expect revenues of $479.26 million for the first quarter of fiscal 2010.
