Valero Energy Prices Public Offering Of $400 Mln Of 4.50 Notes And $850 Mln Of 6.125% Notes - Quick Facts

Wednesday, Valero Energy Corp. (VLO) priced a public offering of $400 million aggregate principal amount of 4.50% notes due 2015 and $850 million aggregate principal amount of 6.125% notes due 2020. The offering was made following the company's shelf registration statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on March 12, 2009.

The offering is expected to close on February 8, 2010, subject to customary closing conditions. Valero intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes, including the refinancing of debt. Banc of America Securities LLC, Barclays Capital Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Credit Suisse Securities LLC and J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. are the joint book-runners for the notes offering.
