Aussie Soars To 4-day High Against US Dollar

Bouncing back from its early Asian session's downtrend, the Australian currency touched a 4-day high of 0.8716 against the US dollar by 2:20 am ET Tuesday. This was up by more than 1.1 percent from a 4-day low of 0.8616 hit earlier in the Asian session. The aussie-buck pair, which finished Monday's trading at 0.8648, is presently quoted at 0.8714 and moving a few pips up may push the pair to its highest level in 5 days.
