Cumulus Media Inc. (CMLS) said on Monday that it has appointed Chuck Bortnick as its Regional Vice President-Northeast, effective March 1, 2010. The Northeast region includes the company's 19 radio stations in Bridgeport, Danbury, Westchester and Poughkeepsie.
Chuck Bortnick joins Cumulus with a wealth of operating experience. Chuck Bortnick was the former COO of Westwood One and President of Metro Networks. On the station side, Chuck Bortnick was VP/GM of WFAN in NY in addition to radio management roles in Miami, Houston and Cleveland. Most recently Chuck Bortnick was the Executive Vice President of the JACKfm radio brand for SparkNet Communications.
