Monday, Transgenomic Inc. (TBIO.OB) appointed Katherine Richardson as Technical Director for Laboratory Services. In this position, Katherine will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Transgenomic's Laboratory Services labs.
Katherine has more than 25 years of genetic laboratory experience. She joins Transgenomic following eight years as a scientist with OSI Pharmaceuticals. Previously she was with Eli Lilly and Co. for nine years as a senior toxicologist specializing in genetic toxicology and molecular carcinogenesis.
Transgenomic Inc. provides products for the purification and analysis of nucleic acids used in the life sciences industry for research primarily on molecular genetics and diagnostics. The company also provides genetic variation analytical services to the medical research, clinical, and pharmaceutical markets.
