Telegent Systems, announced that Ron Kao has joined Telegent as vice president of Asia Pacific.
In this role, Ron is responsible for the development of Telegent's Asia organization.
The company stated that prior to Telegent, Ron was the senior director and general manager of Broadcom's Taiwan Design Center and Asia Business Development, responsible for product development, customer support, and strategic partnerships in the region.
Previously, Ron was the founder and CEO of Vovtel Networks and a co-founder of Lite-On Communications, growing the business to a top three market position, Telegent added.
