Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (GMCR) reported third quarter non-GAAP net income of $0.19 per share after the bell Wednesday, up from $0.12 per share last year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.18. The company expects to report fourth quarter EPS of $0.18 to $0.20 and full year 2010 EPS of $0.69 to $0.71.
Green Mountain Coffee Roasters gapped up Thursday and climbed during the first 45 minutes of trade. Shares finished higher by 2.69 at $31.36. The stock rose to a 3 1/2 month high.
