CACI International Inc (CACI) said Monday that it has completed separate deals to buy TechniGraphics, Inc. and Applied Systems Research Inc., both providers of geospatial and technical services to the Intelligence Community.
CACI said the acquisitions expands its growth in those disciplines and reinforce its commitment to providing end-to-end intelligence solutions.
TechniGraphics is a 450-person company headquartered in Wooster, Ohio, with additional locations in Fort Collins, Colorado and Madrid, Spain. Its products form the basis for intelligence analysis, military operational planning, and disaster relief planning. The company's principal customers are the U. S. Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, and allied governments. About 85% of the employees possess security clearances. TechniGraphics' revenue in calendar year 2010 is expected to be $46 million.
Applied Systems Research is a 50-person company headquartered in Fairfax, Virginia. The company's Measurements and Signatures Intelligence discipline provides solutions to difficult spatial, spectral, and technical intelligence tasks. ASR is also a provider of professional services at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. About 90% of ASR employees have high-level special security clearances, about two-thirds of the workforce has more than 20 years of experience in their fields. ASR is expected to generate almost $10 million in revenue in calendar year 2010.
CACI expects the ASR and TechniGraphics acquisitions to be solidly accretive to its earnings per share during the first 12 months.
