CGI Group, Inc. (GIB) Friday signed a seven year, multi-million dollar agreement, by which CGI will provide a customer information system implementation project and subsequent ongoing application management, infrastructure support and disaster recovery services to SaskEnergy Inc., Saskatchewan's natural gas distribution utility.
Doug Kelln, President and Chief Executive Officer, SaskEnergy said, "The security of our customer information and accurate, on-time billing is a top priority, and the CGI solution best fit our needs."
CGI said its work includes the replacement of SaskEnergy's legacy customer and billing information system utilizing Oracle's Customer Care and Billing application to manage critical business functions including customer service, billing, collections and meter management.
