Harley-Davidson Inc. (HOG) reported second quarter net income of $0.81 per share Tuesday morning, up from $0.30 per share in the prior year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.71.
Harley-Davidson has gapped open sharply higher Tuesday and is now up 4.37 at $45.78 in early trade. The stock has climbed above a 2-week range and has set a new high for the year.
