Blink-182 front man Tom DeLonge says that he suffered from skin cancer on his chest last year.
While promoting a VIP backstage meet-and-greet with the band on Facebook he volunteered the news—along with some info on his campaign to promote cancer awareness:
"I got diagnosed with Skin Cancer last year, all ok though . . . But I am launching 'boomerlovesboobies.com' with two types of VIP meet and greets, to raise money for Cancer awareness with Keep A Breast.org. I will be meeting all the VIP's on the Blink tour."
The stated goal of Boomer Loves Boobies is to "eradicate breast cancer by exposing young people to methods of prevention, early detection and support."
The VIP package includes a meeting with DeLonge, an original print by the musician and a promotional bracelet.
