KIT digital, Inc. (KITD) Wednesday said it was selected by Grupo Clarín, the largest media group in Argentina, to leverage the KIT Video Platform to support its major news portal www.clarin.com. KIT is a cloud-based software solutions and technology services provider for multiscreen video management and delivery.
The Clarín relationship is jointly served by KIT digital and the company's Latin American channel partner Latin Stock Digital.
Clarín is using the KIT Video Platform to stream major events like the Auto-Show, events surrounding the Argentinian presidential election and digital music concert Creamfields.
Clarin.com's product manager Gonzalo Luzza said, "The KIT digital platform allows us to successfully broadcast live to Facebook, iOS, BlackBerry and Android devices."
