American Greetings Corp. (AM) reported third quarter net income of $0.50 per share Thursday morning, down from $0.78 per share last year.
American Greetings gapped open sharply Thursday and spiked to the downside in early trade. The stock traded in a range for the remainder of the session and finished lower by 3.59 at $13.39 on the highest volume of the year. American Greetings sank beneath support and closed at a new low for the year.
