Kenny Olson, Kid Rock and Twisted Brown Trucker Band guitarist, has announced that he is going solo. His debut album, the self-titled Kenny Olson Cartel, will be released through Foxy Music/Firebird.
The group features Jon Nicholson, of the Nashville music collective MuzikMafia, on vocals; vocalist/keyboardist Hugo Ferreira of Tantric; vocalist Paris DeLane of Sonia Dada; Emanual Cole on drums, keyboards by Peter Keys (George Clinton, Lynyrd Skynyrd), bass by legendary Billy Cox (Hendrix) and more.
Olson performed and manned songwriting duties on Kid Rock's biggest albums including Devil Without A Cause, History of Rock, Cocky, Kid Rock and Live Trucker.
Kenny Olsen Cartel hits stores on February 7; currently, its lead single, "Up All Night," is available for free download at www.kennyolson.com.
