The US currency extended its previous session's downward trading against the euro and the Swiss franc during New York afternoon trading on Friday. The greenback slumped to new multi-week lows of 1.3203 against the euro and 0.9139 versus the franc as of 12:50 pm ET, compared to Thursdays' close of 1.3109 and 0.9207, respectively.
